Twilight

In fields of resonant shadow

I sit and await the coming of our Lady

the sky reddens, bleeds as it receives the sun

life here becomes subdued

with the expiration of the sun

our Lady softly strides forth

arrogantly strides forth

encompassing all, gradually

shadows leap, their boldness growing

smothering all they encounter

In fields of vibrant twilight

I sit and praise our Lady

shadows gather 'round me

darkness flocks towards me

drawing strength from the subtle changes

in the atmosphere our Lady brings

deeply drink I from this well of Night

we call anew, we are rewarded

as Nuit herself now has full reign

the awakening of an eidolon named Night.
